Default Modded LS1 VS. LS2 GTO

I have a question for you guys. Should I go with a LS1 Camaro with bolt ons with close to 100K miles on it for close to $7,000 OR should I go with a stock LS2 GTO with 50K miles on it for $9,000?!?

Between those two, I'd take the GTO. But overall I would prefer a Camaro or Trans Am over the GTO. I prefer the F-body styling.

I dont know about potential......my decision would be heavily biased upon whether it is a DD or not.

Not a DD......Camaro
DD.......GTO

It will be a DD...yes the potential, stock vs. stock...you cant go wrong with 50 more rwhp like in the 05-06 GTO...

So therefore it dosent matter what mod that you go with, say if you do the exact same intake, full exhuast, heads/cam, tune on both cars...you will always have more rwhp with the GTO than the F-body.

You will always have more weight in the GTO, as a side note.

But the Camaro would normally sell for 8-9 grand, and the GTO would normally sell for 16-18 grand.

And you will always have more weight. Stock for Stock, the Fbody is still faster than the GTO, same with bolt-ons.

If you can get the GTO for 9k, get the gto

each has there own points, but drive a camaro/transam then drive the gto.

stock vs. stock, fbody all day.

and id love to see a gto handle better then my car.

on a side note, buy the gto and call it a day. if i would have found a GTO for that price when i was looking for my car i would have taken it in a heartbeat.

other than power, you dont have to worry about the rear end with the gto, have a better interior, way better feeling suspension.
