Well i am pretty disappointed. Maybe due to the free night it sucked!! I got there at 9 and they close at 12. I only got one run in!!!!! I sat in the staging lane for 3 freaking hours while the gay bikes got to run about 5 times and the pro mod cars got to run about the same. To top it all off they only ran an 1/8th tonight... Might as well just stayed home. Not worth the freaking drive IMHO tonight. On a positive side the track was very nice and will probably be better once they get use to running it and its not so busy.
My only suggestion is get the staging lane more organized. I have been to ennis multiple times and never had to wait 3 hours to make 1 pass.

Did anyone else see the FIRST two cars that went down the track wrecked!! BOTH!! That's why they were only going 1/8th mile.
One of the cars(Vega) got squirrly in the shutdown area and took out the other car(1st gen Camaro).

The problem was they only prepped about 1/4 of the shut down area and then it is just smooth concrete. Then both of the first cars ran past the quater and the vega hit his brakes hard and locked it up on the smooth concrete he just slid right into the camaro. So they shut it down to 1/8 to be safe until they can grind the shutdown to get texture and then glue it. Then the rail guy argued with us about how he came out here to run 1/4 and thats what he was gonna run, so we said its not safe but he ran the 1/4 anyways and in the shut down he slid and luckly he didnt hit the wall but instead oiled down the whole shut down. So it was a big mess and yes the bikes ran way to much and we told the staging lane guy to quit sending them but he kept doing it. So sorry for the wait it should be ALOT better as soon as we get some routine and the track gets a real prep.
