I agree...if you wont be using it as a daily driver i'd get the C5Z

Yes. the '05 shares the same rear end as the regular C5 IIRC.

I would go with the C5Z... I have driven the C6 with LS2 and was not impressed... I liked the C5 much better, the C5 felt more responsive and the C6 felt more like a caddy...
