Default Got my afrs from ups

Hope they are not junk, anybody know a good machine shop?
how much will a fix run me?

I am opening a claim with UPS on monday, since they were insured for about 1k.
bought the heads from a user on here, looks like UPS had thrown them around, nothing wrong with the packaging.

if the packaging wasn't messed up then maybe whoever sold them to you is to blame... did they provide you with different pics than what you actually got?

Your going to have to prove they were messed up by UPS. I wouldn't mention they were used bro.

The box it was shipped in was torn up, the packaging from the seller was nothing wrong with, it was totally ups fault.
I guess whatever happens is if they are fixable, its not too bad, but how much would a machine shop take to fix them?
any recomendations?
this is the 2nd time something is sent from UPS to me that gets fuxxed.

Mine were fubarred. The dealer i bought them from paid to have them shipped back, then shipped me a new set. Took about a month to get it resolved.

A while back, i also had a set of heads arrive with a nick in the surface near the CC. The dealer paid to have them milled.

Make sure to contact them ASAP so they can come look at the box. The longer you wait the worse off you'll be. Sorry for your misfortune!

Looks like UPS decided to play "Lets see how far this box will fly" again. I only use fedex now.

Hey Im Colins friend (your sisters bf?), I think he showed me these heads last weekend. I thought the valve cover surface wouldnt be a problem, you could probably just file that down. I wasn't sure about the bottom head surface though. I dont know enough about heads to tell you how bad those nicks are. Maybe you could mill the head down a little bit more, as long as it will be ok with your setup. I tried calling my friend to ask him about it but he didnt answer and then I forgot about it.

Hey bro, the big problem here is that my *** is over in europe still, and i wont be back until another month at least. i guess i will try to contact ups and have them look at the box and heads, if nothing works there i will take them to a shop on hwy6 to get them repaired and tested..
