thats how it seems so far. these cars dont feel brutal like the 4th gens. but even in stock form this car runs better on the highway than modded cam only ls1 cars. it has suprised me with the kills ive made in this car. looks like my red car will have to come apart for some mods as the 346 ci ls motor seems like a turd now.

AJ, the 5th gen is kind of a turd in 1st gear. That is why the dragstrip times kind of suck. Also, they only use 3 gears in the quarter-mile. From a roll though, they move very well. My stock '06 GTO had no problem pulling away from bolt-on 4th gens, and the Camaro has more power and weighs about the same. I'd expect a stock 5th gen to run very well against a cam-only 4th gen from a roll.

it would be pretty close if not a clear win for the 2010 from a highway run with a good driver. as for the worn out tired 4th gen ls1 cars that is not a issue at all. so far in mine ive raped a 2006 bolt on ls2 gto, a full bolt on m6 2002 trans am, a 75 shot mach 1 & a 2004 saleen s281 mustang with a few mods.

You will like the gains once you go blown, a guy here locally had a Inferno orange SS with the american racing headers and a Maggie and is putting down 565hp to the wheels, I believe he took it to Hennessy.
Dru buy a house and move out of your parents already you Queef.
