Default Just turned 25. How much is your insurance?

Been paying $69 to Farmer's for just liability on my '98 Trans Am. I think I have a speeding ticket from six years ago, no accidents. I took care of a couple of speeding tickets since then with defensive driving.

Now, the monthly payment will be $51. Should it be lower?

I asked about full coverage, too, and she said it would be like $111/month.

Should I shop around for a better quote?

Yeah, you need to shop around.
I pay $81 a month for full coverage an my 2000 Trans Am, and liability on my 1991 Chevy 4x4 truck. Both cars are in my name, and i have 5 points on my license. and im 24 years old, I have one ticket that is hurting me right now, so when it goes away my monthly payment will go down a little.

Guys, you better make sure you have full coverage, because I'm not getting quotes anywhere near $80 for it.

Neither am I, but my dad was.

Either way, I've "heard" that USAA does more then military now. But I may have been misinformed.

I have Farmers as well, but luckily not in Harris county (part of why yours is so high). I pay ~120/month for full coverage on 03 Lightning, 00 GT and liability on 99 SS. Liability for the Hoss was only like 35/month.

I just turned 25 also and mine was cut in about 1/2-1/3.

USAA here as well, 66 bucks a month full coverage. When I turned 25 it went down considerably, almost cut in half!

My rates dropped in half on the Trans Am and went down some on the truck. I have to have high coverages for my 08 Sierra due to work, so it goes beyond what most people have as full coverage, but it's still $360 or so every 6 months. On the T/A it's $110 every 6 months for liability, theft and uninsured, the T/A and truck are on seperate deals, same company though, state farm.
