I prefer A/C too, but I'm not one of those wusses who refuses to work in hot conditions. Some guys are like that. Therefore, A/C is not a requirement.

As previously mentioned and maybe I missed the reply, but any plans for epoxy on the floor? Seems like a good idea to keep things as clean and immaculate as you like to do.

Did your price include you doing any of the labor or just acting as the supervisor/contractor?
Thanks!
I might do epoxy, but I'm not sold on the idea. That stuff costs too much just to look pretty. I want this shop to be a work area primarily, and it would cost around $17,000 to coat a shop this size, based on $7 sq-ft quotes I've received. For that kind of expense, oil stains do not bother me enough. I didn't do any labor on the building, just managed the contractors scheduling and quote hunting.

New compressor will happen. Looking at 80 gallon units now. I'll also get a grit blast cabinet when that goes in.

Let's see, I know he's an engineering manager, but I'm not sure that alone would afford him ALL these goodies, land, etc. If I'm not mistaken, he sold LS1tech which I'm sure brought a pretty penny, and he does freelance photography work...

Hmm. I must be missing something. Either way, that's a man's dream shop and dream inventory. I remember you saying in a thread a long time ago that you worked seven years on your MechE. It's certainly paid off. It's the American dream of working hard, being diligent, and enjoying the fruits of your labor.
