I want to see DJ Monroe run the ball more and I hope B.Collins gets his grades up too

OU needs to worry about Miami, they look fast

It's better to get your loss in early in the season. It kills your chances if it comes after the halfway mark.

No, I'm not banned. . . . yet. I'm not on much and moved to Iowa for my new job

As for OUs loss, it's simple in my view, coaching. If the coach(s) can't get the guys ready to play and something this sad (the game play itself) happens, there is no other target for blame. Coaching failed the Sooner Nation on Saturday. Getting to within 10 of the goal line and missing after 7 plays is inexcusable on ANY team. I expected ribbing on this one and felt worse than any of the non-OU fans can make me feel about it. Within minutes of the completion a buddy of mine (UT fan) sent a message via text saying:
"Theres always next year" So I cordially acknowledged our loss and congratulated him on the victory for Texas over St. Marys school for the Blind Quadriplegics. . .

I also admitted OU took their shot at ULaff a few years back and had similar results.

Anyway, my view on Landry Jones is that he's obviously talented (was said to be winning QB for a state championship team back-to-back years in H.S.) and to have him hand off the ball for play after play after play is yet again another failure of coaching.

With my point expressed without foul language and antagonism, I welcome constructive comments.

Yeah I felt sorry for Landry, his first few passes were right on the money and they were all dropped. Looks like the receiving crew was having issues. Gresham was probably more of a loss than Bradford.

OU will get better. They've got too much talent not to win a lot of games. Luckily for OU they've got Idaho St., Tulsa, and a bye before going to Miami. Stoops has done a poor job of coaching and preparation based on losing five BCS games in a row and also not having Landry prepared enough to step in if/when needed. This will be Stoop's biggest coaching challenge of his career given the adversity facing him.

it was my understanding that Stoops lost some coaches this past off season. Is this correct? If so, i would think they are in a restructing phase. Agreed however, that it is a coaches job to teach, train and educate the players for games.

I was reading all the **** talkers on espn convo posting about how Wyoming was going to roll UT after that blocked punt... then Texas went the entire field in 60 seconds.. they seemed to stop talkin (and scoring) pretty quickly after that.
