Car just hit 100K
I know its not much to some but when i saw it click over i felt a little sadness. On the bright side for a 2000 i figure its not too bad for a DD and it runs like a champ. JW how others felt when theirs hit the big 100?

sweet, yeah the only thing ive had to replace is starter and a window motor so its all good oh and yeah ive taken motors apart and you can def tell the diff between those who have used synthetic (well its not optional for ls1) and motors that ran on conventional so im sure the insides are still good

i just clicked over 100k on my car but i bought it with 96k on it and I've always owned cars with over 100k miles on them I use to always use synthetic motor oils but these days after really breaking down and working on motors myself honestly i haven't seen much of a major difference. it all is in how you maintained the vehicle i switched over to a 10w40 mix and the motor responded WAYYYY better to that the synthetic motor oil the previous owner had in it. i usually change my motor oil every 2k miles though because i rarely drive the cars. honda daily ftw!
