how do ya'll run in an auto? do ya'll down **** or just leave on drive?

Put it in park, give it gas till you get up to about 5k rpms, then slam it in drive. This works great for low 60ft times. Just make sure you have slicks or drag radials, anything else and you might not hook.

lol. the reason i ask because the first and only other car i raced in was my turbo cobalt SS, theyre all standard. this will be the first automatic i plan to do runs in.

Yep, get a 3000-3500 stall and leave it in drive. The computer can shift faster than you can.

Damn I just got a 3000 stall and cant wait to get it in, do they really make that much of a difference? I am running a 224/224 with the stocker right now and it seems to do ok
