It is a 6 liter bored .030 with the stock crankshaft. So it ends up being a 4.030 Bore x 3.622 Stroke.

if you stroke it with out touching the bore size with a 4 inch stroke would be a 402 ci. you dont have to touch the bore. what are ur plans if i can ask? if it is boost, just get you some standard forged 4 inch pistons some good rods balance it and roll the hell out with it. if spray same thing. just put you some small cc heads to get compression up good size cam and roll out that way. boost doesnt have to have cubes to make big power. spray doesnt either, but a stroker motor helps a ton with spray. just went through all this with my 370 i was spraying the **** out of. horsepower and torque almost the same at the rearwheels. 620 rwhp and 630 rwtq. with a stroker the torque is much much higher. proven though a friends 408 and a nother friends 402.

my .02 sorry it turned into so much!! lol

well i have a 76mm turbo. i have found out that the 370 -377 ci is about my limit. i was just thinking that if i stroked it it would help my torque #'s. I have also thought about an ls3 with forged internals but i can get a complete 6.0 from a friend for $400. all i have to do is forge it and im ready. so thats probably what i will do. lunati rotating assy with 30 over pistons.

thanks for the input.

i wouldnt say that a 370 to a 377 is your limit. i am actually in the process of a long build myself. the 370 i had i am stuffing a callies 4.125 stroke crank 6.125 rod with a 4.03 bore. not even touching the bore and it is going to come out to a 421ci. i am going to start off with a borg warner 75mm. i know this is a small mm for this engine. but the turbo sports a massive housing with a good size a/r at 1.32. should make good boost down low. so if you wanted to go with a larger engine you can. get that spool time down. the key i am working on is NO turbo lag. i want to make boost as fast as possilbe. i am not shooting for huge numbers. a soild 700 to 800 rwhp. i know thats alot just not for what the set up is capable of. i truthfully dont know a whole lot of the boost stuff yet. i have relied on a couple of friends that have boosted cars. i just know of what one friend has done with his borg 75. with his ltx and what i can be capable of with my lsx. anyway my .02 has strung out again. lol good luck with build. i know i cant wait to get mine down.

my turbo only has a .96 a/r so i would have to change the turbine housing to a larger a/r. what does that do to the compressor map?

well i just don't see the point in building a 370 and then 6 months or a year later building a 408. I will just keep the wick turned down and turn it up a little at a time.
