If it was an issue with the function of the converter I would agree with you. But it's not.

Humm... not the first time I guess someone from Xplicit has had this problem.

If you not a member over there, same thing happened. Sold rockers as crane, which were not, plus didn't fit, and wouldn't refund money.

Can you post this over in the Negative Trader Feedback thread? The person I contacted with the internet crime complaint center has a link to that thread for review.

Sir before you post negative on someone do your research. Im a moderator and posted 3rd party input. I was neither buyer or seller.

Do some real searches. 100 percent feed back on many sites.

i agree, it looks like one of our stock 4l60e converters. really screwed up that they're not refunding this, especially given the condition of the stall. any competent shop would know that this is not a yank. next time make sure you ask for pictures before you buy anything used, because this seems to happen alot. i would have asked for a refund the second i saw that POS

Put the stall in and see what i does... If it doesnt satll then cry at that time till then come on...

yes my yank was a redish color as well but ya never know.... I have heard lots of good stuff bout these people... your goin very far with this over 4 bills and you should install it and see what it does, he said it stalls too said stall and if your going with a procharger your still gonna need some kinda stall...

Wow! A lot of these guys are saying that it's been 2 months so get over it! That's insane! It's like paying $18,000 for a 2002 Camaro LE and then finding out two months later that it's originally a stock V6 Camaro that has been("FALSHED") to look and perform like an LE. It might perform like an LE after the ("FLASH") but that's not the point..The point is that you were told it was a "Yank"!...but.. IT'S NOT! I really hope you get your cash back. Maybe the negative guys in here have money to throw and don't think $410 is alot.

after reading the PM's it sounds like the seller never mentioned that it had been restalled until after speaking with yank. a converter restalled to 3600 from 3000 is not a 3600 stall, its a restalled 3000 to 3600. it probably should have been mentioned prior to the sale(particularly when he mentioned that it was, in fact, a 3600 stall rather than the 3000). i sell parts myself, and withholding such information is IMO unproffesional. on the flipside, the part is used and comes with no warranty to speak of, so i think any problems should have been reported upon receipt of the product.

well man you kinda brought it upon yourself... now i'm not taking either side, he might have knowingly ripped you off, and maybe he didn't... but you should have asked for pics before you sent any money at all... that was mistake #1... since you didn't ask for pics, when you recieved it you should have gone over it very carefully and confirmed that it was in fact what he advertised it to be instead of stashing it away and waiting 2 months later... mistake #2... i would have to say tough loss man... you might be an honest stand up guy but no one has any idea what has happened in the 2 months you had the converter except yourself... i hope you can get the problem peacefully resolved, but take this as a lesson learned

That sums it up perfectly. I understand if he had installed the stall and ragged on it and then complained, it would have been different. The guy took the seller's word and went with it, in good faith. Similar thing happened with me with RPM in Lewisville. They tuned the car and it ran fine in the beginning. The weather changed and it started running like crap. Went back to them, they hooked it back up, and fixed the issue. (It had been accidentally left in the open loop after a new 02 sensor was installed). NO charge, after more than 2 months. Thats just plain common courtesy. Everyone makes mistakes; part of being human....but we should correct the short coming/mistake/error.

Read what I wrote. I pointed out another person who scammed someone just like you, who also just happened to fly the xplicit banner around. Not a big shocker that you stuck up for him on westside either.

2 scammers who both use the same scam, both from xplicit, you defending him........not to hard to figure it out.

Be a man and do the right thing and refund his money.
