Just glad they pulled it out. Hopefully they bring a better damn offense to the NC game. I'd like to see TCU v. Florida in a BCS game but i know that wont happen.

<---Former Longhorn Band Member. To say I'm a fan is an understatement.

That was just about the worst college football game I've ever watched. The only reason it was a heart-pounding finish was because both offenses played like lumps of crap. Yes, both defenses played really well, and hats off to the Nebraska coaching staff and players, but I'd rather gouge my eyes out than watch another game like that. UT is likely to get stomped by Bama if they play like that.

Just for argument's sake, though:
Bama (1) vs. Ohio State (8)
Texas (2) vs. Oregon (7)
TCU (3) vs. Boise State (6)
Cincinnati (4) vs. Florida (5)

You're telling me that wouldn't make a ****-ton of money for the NCAA and its colleges? If a playoff started next week, it would finish around New Year's.

I'd watch every game, and I bet the advertisers wouldn't mind that one bit.

The officiating wasn't that great either... Not making excuses... just stating facts...

Yeah, if only there were some way for the coaches to vote... maybe like some, oh I dunno, Coaches Poll that somehow factored into the BCS rankings. What a novel concept!!!

[QUOTE=LS1nterceptor;12584884]There is no way TU should be playing for a national championship when there are better teams that are being left out. There is no way that this is how it would go down if the coaches got a vote like they should.

And there was no way that Oklahoma should have been playing in it last year, deal with and stop crying like Tebow was yesterday. Texas had a better team last year and got left out, this is payback for the system.

Alabama will CRUSH the cows, mark it down! Mark Ingram is the real deal and no way will he be stopped. Texas has not scored more than 16 points on a top 10 defense, and we've seen more than once what Alabama can do against a top 10 defense. If texas is lucky, they will be able to hold it to within 10 pts, but worse case scenario, they will get blown off the field. Congrats Alabama to your 2009 national championship. ROLL TIDE!!!!

Ingram, the first thing to come out of detroit that isn't a failing economy.

Glad to know some new fan appears from no where.... we'll let the boys talk on the field this January.

Ingram should win the Heisman. No question in my mind.

That said, last time Texas played in the BCS Championship game, they played against a Heisman winner. And we all know how that turned out...

I agree Ingram gets the Heisman this year, Texas better bring the team that showed up to play OU rather than the one they brought last night, I missed the whole 1st half since I was on my way back from Dallas.. that being said, Texas rush defense is what? in the top5 in the nation and hasn't really allowed a ton of rushing yards all year...

although I'm a die hard Texas fan and bleed Burnt Orange, I sure hope they bring the right team on Jan 7...

What a crazy game... Did Texas play good? NO. Do good teams find a way to win? Yes. I am not a fan of t.u. but credit is given where credit is due. They have not played well two games in a row but have found a way to win in both of those games. That is what good teams do. Its going to be an interesting NC... Texas has to play lights out against BAMA

IMO Toby Gerhart is the most deserving of the Heisman.

I actually attended the game last night.. It was crazy, my buddy and i were watching the last 6 sec's of the clock tick down wondering WTF??? Why is Mack Brown not calling a time out!! the saving grace was MCcoy throwing the ball out of bounds w 2 sec's left on the clock.. Quite honestly, i feel that he lost track of time.. We were LUCKY!! The Nebraska crowd went F#$^ing crazy when we kicked the winning FG... A win is a win... UT is still standing.. All you haters get the kleenex out... UT will prevail on Jan 6th.. Yeah, i said it!! HOOk EM HORNS
