Funny how Alabama can struggle in low scoring, close games against sub-par teams, Cincinnati can struggle in their last four games, and TCU plays in a weak, non-BCS conference and they're the end-all of CFB teams?
While Texas has had some similarly close games and still won every game they played in, yet "Texas is no good and doesn't deserve to be in the NCG"? UT did what they needed to do fair and square and earned the right to play in the title game. The haters can bitch all they want, but it won't change who's playing who. The bowl system didn't check with you and ask your opinion as to who was placed where.

Verdad Gallardo True statement. Yall went undefeated in the big 12. Even though the big 12 was pretty weak this year it is still the big 12! I predict it being a great NC game, I feel like UT is the underdog only by a small margin because yall have always found a way to win this season in big games.

I don't see how people can honestly believe texas doesnt belong in the game. Living in texas, im around nothing but longhorns fans and im always getting screwed with, so i like to talk some crap when i can get a word in. but looking at the top teams that finished behind bama and texas, its a laugher to suggest TCU, Cincy, or boise for that game. if anything, i say florida gets a rematch before any of those teams if texas wasnt there to play. I just have no faith in these small conference teams that play next to no one.
if they arent going to fix things with a playoff, they at least need to realign conferences. throw an extra team into the big 10 and pac 10 to get them 12, so they can have a conference championship. TCU needs to be in the big 12 if they are really going to hang around. Boise, utah, cincy, maybe fresno ect need to fill the gaps in the big 10 or even the pac. there needs to be some sort of system in place, that if you get too big for your britches in a small conference you need to be forcibly swapped with a nobody struggling in a big boy conference.
