Fine, I will stop "trolling". I was simply reacting to my perspective of your one-sided worship.

Now, after all these pages of BS, we all know it will be damn good game. So what are your actual predictions?

You weren't trolling. And I am not a "one-sided" worshiper. I follow college football closely and can see the bigger picture.

My prediction: UT 27 - Bama 16

But like it or not, in my opinion the BIG 12 was very weak, so strength of schedule skewed like the rest of the BCS plays no part in the argument. In my opinion of course. We agree to disagree, man. I'm glad you like Texas so much, I don't dislike them..I just happen to think along with plenty of other people that TCU is the better team. Like I said, I was born and raised in Houston so I am a cougars fan. My team isn't in it, but I still picked a winner...which will be Alabama.

+1 for a playoff system.
I like the playoff Idea also but for it to work we may need to create divisions or conferences to equalize parity. One thing to consider is in the Big 12 even a down year there are top prospects filling the starting lineups even on a loosing team. Take TCU put them in a major conferance and let them take the pounding week after week and see how they hold up. Not saying the majors don't get their share of cupcakes but overall a weak Oklahoma, TT, Nebraska or A&M will inflict way more damage and wear weekly than Air Force.. etc Nebraska was also a very good team that played more ranked teams an beat just as many of them as TCU. Don't get me wrong I think TCU is a good football team not a great team. Why not Texas and TCU play for the title? Alabama needed a blocked FG against a weak TN, also Auburn almost beat them (I know rivalry game), the BS call on the LSU pick then they beat an overranked Florida team and now they can't be beat.. HA HA HA it will be a closer game than most think my pick Texas in a defensive struggle 16-13. I'm a texas fan but Ala. is my second team so if UT can't win the MNC than ALA would be my choice. I was born in ALA. and most of my relatives are ALA. fans. I think ALA. is a overall better team but this Texas team finds a way to win. With all being said HOOK' EM

it would have been nice to watch TCU play somebody else besides boise state though... they always end up playing and at the end of the day it proves nothing.
