Not talking **** but its not that hard. I ran a 9.5 @ 149 with a 1.6 60 ft on a drag radial. And making 200hp less power through a 4l60. Stock suspension c5 vette. Congrats Mr. Brooks on the car either way.

No offense, but a Vette weighs about 800lbs less than the 2010 Camaro. I think 800lbs makes up for 200hp... And honestly if you went 149 with less then 800rwhp then I'd really like to believe your Vette was lighter than stock.

I have to give major props to "OrangeChevyII - LG Motorsports" that is crazy fast for the mods and a 6spd makes it even more impressive, but it looks like hes bringing a knife to a gunfight 1.7 60foot you know in a month it will be down to atleast 1.5x and ripping 9.5x

You're one to talk about not putting money where your mouth is. You set up a race with a truck and had him drive 5 hours to race you and you wouldn't answer your phone like a little girl. Good thing the owner of that red C5 took his car back. I guess he got tired of you calling people out and talking **** and than hiding with your tail between your legs.

Weight was never the argument, the argument was that it was "hard" to run a 9.9x with a 1.7. Weight comparisons are irrelevant when you are strictly talking about time slips.

So he is no longer an employee? Is the Red C5 now steven's car? I don't think so. I know exactly what I am talking about.

Weight makes a huge difference in timeslips... Have you ever owned a fast car or you just some kid with a stock LS1 that's stuck in the 12s? Learn a little bit about how much weight effects a ET then come talk to me.

My vette weighs 3400lbs with out me in it. It has the nitrous bottles, full interior, ac, Dynomatted undercarpet, standalone fuel cell. LMR saw the car run this summer at the vette shoot out. I weigh 215 so put me at 3600lbs roughly. It Dynos 745 to the wheels through a 4l60. So no my car is not lightened up. Hell the car only runs 6.39 in the eighth but at 117mph.

Weight makes a huge difference in trying to make a car run faster. Go back and read what G-force said since you have so much reading comprehension. Did he say it was hard to run that time with a 1.7 60ft in a 5th gen? No. He said people didn't understand how hard it was to do it at all. And yes I don't own a fast car. Maybe you should keep that cute little **** car of yours in the garage before this "kid" embarrasses it.

Excuses are like *** holes. Everyone has one. I think OCC11 needs to put a few more stipulations in his sig "worlds quickest and fastest SILVER 2010 camaro with v6 brakes 6 speed RPS clutch with stock shortblock and cam in dallas on sundays on 16in wheels running 15psi pressure"

Uhhh if you go a 5.39 in the 1/8th you should be a LOT faster than a 9.5. Just for reference my old time slip when I was the 4th or 5th Nitrous LS1 in the 8s...

Notice the 5.761 1/8th mile. Now granted I did go 124mph in the 1/8th and ran out of gear at the 1000ft it still shows that 5.39 is full of **** unless you meant a 6.39. My car did that at 820rwhp (probably less than that because I had the car pig rich because the motor was not tuned for the changes I made) through a Powerglide and weighed 3175 with me and a 15lb bottle in it. My whole point is I bet it makes a lot more than 745rwhp LOL!

Let me put it to you this way... Until you catch up with the LS1 we built in OUR GARAGE almost 4 years ago you just need to shut up and spoke when spoken to. Hell until you can even catch my little brothers soon to be sold (hopefully) Vette you can MAYBE say something, but I think his 10.00 @ 144 blowing the clutch up in 2nd gear has you covered (It's be 148mph on a 5sec n2o build time 150-300).

And you my friend are the king douche. I have no idea what you are talking about. If you would like to race my friends red C5 please feel free to give me a call anytime to setup a race. I do not think you understand how many times my phone rings in a weekend asking me to to drive to "Dallas" or "Georgia" to race this or that guys cars. Its funny the its never the OWNER of the vehicle calling me or trying to setup a race, its alway the nut huggers.

OCC11, i hope you know I am just trying to rile you up to get you to race. Please dont take anything personal. I honestly do hope you beat our record so we will have to take it one step further!

Sorry for ranting everyone, I am falling into these guys foot steps at being a keyboard jockey. I am finished, going back to building RECORD SETTING CARS!

Just say it Steve. I'll let it go if you just put this in your next post.

"My name is Steven Ferreday. I am the Owner of LMR. I am afraid of a maroon AWD truck from the neck of the woods in Mississippi."

You know exactly what I am talking about, you just won't admit it because you don't want all of your little to realize how much of a ***** you are for agreeing to race someone for $5K and then backing out when you found out that you're ****.. let me rephrase that.. the other people's **** that you claim wasn't as awesome as you thought it was.
