I don't know if I've ever heard of Power Purple. I generally use Simple Green on my tips (which I see in your arsenal), and it usually works pretty good. I have Borla tips, and they're usually a PITA to keep clean

Ive tried the simple green before, It works good. This works better. I have never polished my tips in the last 2 years of having them. I usually clean weekly but have gone as long as 3 months ( rainy time and work, no time for car ) without cleaning and it washes it right off.
It works, but the result will depend on how they were taken care of previously. Depending on how bad they are, you may or may not need to use some fine steel wool to get the look you are after. Once there, use it when you wash the car and they should stay looking good.

Idk if I would use a brush on the tips. It looks like it would scuff them up. I use to clean mine with a terry cloth towel and some mothers polish. It's easy and you don't have to scrub it hard to get them to shine.

I wash my engine bay every other weekend with power purple and does a beautiful job. Just let it sit for a couple of minutes and rinse it off. You should try spraying it on just the tires... You will see all the crap fall off it. After that a little of tire shine and that's it. Great product!

That purple power is some strong sh@t. I have one of those 3 gallon pesticide sprayers. When I could find simple green in the black 1 gallon jug at oreilly and autozone I would mix 1 gallon of simple green with 1 gallon of water and clean the engine bay everytime I washed the car without any problems. I can't find that simple green anymore so one day I bough the purple power. I mixed 1 gallon of purple power with 2 gallons of water and it left a white residue on all my an fittings and dulled the crap out my heads and tnt ring.
