That sucks if my son wrecked my 100k car, but at least he is alive, cars are replaceable. I'd have to SUPER trust my son to let them behind the wheel of that much hp with that little experience. I guess if I had been letting him race at the strip for years before it would be easier, but just letting a 16 yr old behind my zr1, nope wouldn't happen.

the whole front end looked like it needed to be replaced. you could see the radiator crushed into the motor so there is no telling what kind of damage is under the hood. it looked bad.

i was going to ask the wrecker driver to stop by my house and let me swap out the end with mine for $500 lol

i really wanted the rear end and trans out of that car.... with 60k in damages they would have not missed it!

Alright guys, the car belongs to my neighbors son. His dad gave it to him as a birthday present when he turned 17 last year. He just turned 18 2 weeks ago. I talked to a member of the household just now and the car is destroyed pretty bad. Was confirmed that he hit a pole and is lucky to be alive. Will try and get more details later, but the family is in California right now.
