I would personally buy it back and drive it like it is..
We almost got in a wreck today since some ******* cut in front of us and then got in the turn lane but was sticking halfway out into our lane. We were pulling my 73 camaro in my friends F150, the brakes locked and he just barely maneuvered around him.. There was nothing we could do but hold on.

Those aren't the ones causing the accidents. It is the idiots who see everyone else driving a safe speed in the rain, who then think they should do 80+ mph and weave in/out of the slower cars leaving gaps for themselves...who lose control or slam into someone when their tires don't grip. Most people don't realize they are actually riding on top of water above 55 mph, your tire contact patch almost disappears, and gets smaller the faster you go.

Most rain accidents are caused by people who think of buying new tires as a dreadful chore. They choose to drive around on bald tires just because they hold air. So, essentially they do not value their lives or their cars too much, since that is what is ultimately at risk.
