someone who can weld aluminum in DFW I'm either trying to find an f-body oil pan, or have a truck pan cut down for an ls1/a-body swap. Does anyone know somebody in the Dallas area that could chop off 2" from the bottom of the pan for me and weld it back up, perhaps do a little bit more?

Jeff @ Meyers Enterprises in Lewisville has welded up a few oil pans for us and does very nice work. Can't speak for the rest of the folks there but you won't be upset.
