Default Restoring a 3rd Gen 88 IROC Camaro
Here are some quick pics. Got the car in pieces & the car only came with Manifolds & no exhaust.

Will a 4th gen Y-Pipe & exhaust system work on a 3rd gen & if not is there anywhere fair that sell the Y-pipe. I want cats & everything on my Y-Pipe..

Magnaflow makes a Y pipe, being an 88, you only got one cat. In 89 RPO code N10 got you dual cats on the L98 and a 10HP bump.

So i just need to order the Y-Pipe from a store that carries Magnaflow exhaust then. I am looking for a Y-Pipe that will bolt straight up to my manifolds.

Called that Third Generation Hawks Resotoration supply & they wanted $350 for a offroad Y-Pipe with no cats & they said nobody makes a Y-Pipe with cats for these cars anymore & the Y-Pipe they tried to sell me is the only one that will bolt right up to my manifolds
