Here is the thing about that mile... Stock Z06's are doing 180-185mph... At our mile they do 168-170. They clock them with Radar guns. I'd be VERY interested to see what it does with a proper timing setup like our mile has.

PS: The Ford GT makes 1600rwhp on turbo only plus they used a 100 shot on top of it. Keep in mind SW's OFFICIAL Texas Mile holding car makes less than 1350rwhp, as I've seen it do it in Mile trim with my own eyes.
I still doubt it'll do 250+ at our Mile event. Hopefully they come and prove everyone wrong.

Please don't tell me you are going to get butt hurt that this may not be a record setting car. There are many factors that can change that. If they won't come do a head to head race with SW then it does mean they won't be able to repeat what they "did".
Though the Ford GT guys are claiming they will do 260+ next time... LOL!

It is a bad bitch for sure, but it's hard to compare records that weren't obtained in the exact same fashion. If he did this at the Texas mile no one would second guess it. That's just how it is. I don't really care either way, but at least understand why people are skeptical...
Why was the GT turning left the whole time btw, or was the gps / logger overlay fuxed?

Ok I will not lie, the car is extremely impressive. I would just have liked to see the record set at the Texas Mile where the results could not be doubted when comparing cars.

Mod motors don't seem to get a whole lot of credit, they are huge, have timing chains that equal the underground rail road in distance and with out boost, well, lets not go there. How ever, right chassis, right power adder, they hurt some feelings. So I've done some calculations, expert calculations as a matter of fact, and have come up with the following.
Mod Motors On Boost = 8=======D
Ford GT = (l)
Thus, 8=======D + ( l ) = Win.

I know all coloreds look alike to you PEOPLE, but I never hated mod motors. In fact 94-98 Cobra are my favorite body style of modern Cobra, I liked atlantic blue a lot. I read the comment by mod motor RACIST grayington about Supras having 15 years or what evers, but mods motors were cracking off 9s in the late 90s, been 6s with production blocks. A fact thats lost on so many LS1 guys since they beat a non PI SOHC 96 GT they think all mod motors run similar.
