I sent emails to four or five addresses listed on their site and never received a reply from either. Fortunately there are other tracks in the Houston area if HRP doesn't want our business!

That's for sure! I sat in one staging lane a couple weeks ago only to see motorcycle after motorcycle come after me and go before me. And other lanes going before me. I even told the "lazy" guy on the four wheeler that I got here before all those cars, and pointed to the cars. This has been going on for years though and nobody at HRP seems to care. It's no wonder they don't have enough business to open on Sundays.

ok I will reply with my 0.02'
I think that with street tires you should stay complety out of the water, just do a SHORT dry spin to clean the dirt off, if you wet street tires you carry water to the stage line, you do not want to heat up street tires as they hold better when cool if heated they get oiley and slick, and another side note, air pressure ,if street tires are ran low they cup up in the middle and there fore loose their foot print, just have to try to find the majic point(22-28 best mose of the time)
just my 0.02' Johnny
PS JaSSon how yo' been, ps call sometime

Tony, some how I don't think we should have to rent the track just for HRP to follow a "first come first serve" routine. Don't mine waiting in line as long as the guy that comes up after I've waited 30 minutes doesn't go before me.

track rental is $1500 for 5 cars and $300 additional for each car... If it was less $$, track rental would be a great option...

Just go when they have bracket racers like Coach said. Wheels up, no ricers, very few bikes (only the ones that actually race), track prep is better, no monster trucks (except mine when my car is broke, haha). you can buy a t-n-t tech card and they will run you between classes. Might as well spend another $5 and just go ahead and race. YOu could win your money back. Of course, HRP has won the bracket finals a good number of times, so that means that there are very good bracket racers there and you better be on your toes and your head out of your a$$.
