Im not quite sure you understand that H/C/I can mean so many different things. There really is a huge difference between a quality build and a budget build.
Also what i was refering to about the torque was "power under the curve" not necesarily a dyno number. also take in mind that when turbos are concerned that the power output on a dyno is not always the same as power out out on the road. plus turbo lag (once again depending on quality of build) can account for up to 1 or 2 seconds of lag... a N/A V8 does not.

and nasty is right due to the weight that the srt has on a camaro its a pretty even race 450hp srt vs 450 hp camaro.
lag is non existent when you brake boost any big turbo car. its instant power as soon ans you let off the brake and floor it.
but see the problem with brake boosting is once you punch it your tires are gonna spin. Traction > fwd
its as simple as that..... the guy was on 315 et streets and i was on falken azenis rt-615s..... so traction was an issue out off the 3rd honk..
either way i still think a balt will have problems with a h/c/i ls1 if its set up right.
just due to lack of traction. we all know the be allend all to traction problems...get a rwd car
rwd > traction > fwd

heads cam ls1 i will for sure not even touch one but maybe a mild cam ls1 with supporting mods will be a pretty fun race. unsure but i say im near 340-350wtq on the cobalt. and i think cammed ls1s only make with a decent cam like 350-360wtq? i see range of 360-380 whp, im only at about 310 whp. i can see the balt hanging with a cammed camaro what u guys think?

somthin was up with the dyno thats way to high for exhaust only, people with more bolt-ons than u make less than that lol. 15-20hp and 20-30tq less and those m6 ur auto so u would make even less.

not necessarily, not all motors are going to put out the same numbers. i have no idea how i can beat corvettes and im factory... then again, its always been girls driving and i think they were automatics. ive never had a chance to dyno my ride.

c5s? i guess u can say i beat a c5 zo6 stock of course yesterday before the GSP vs hardy fight i thought those things were quicker than that it wasnt a real race but he would randomly take off when i tried to honk it off, and i would stop his pull and start gaining really good on it before he let off.

not sure if your talking about me but i wasnt trying to "dyno race" i was just telling the cobalt owner that a cammed ls1 doesnt put out a max of 360tq like he was saying.

yeah, FULL bolt-ons. sorry man, i'm having a hard time believing it too. exhaust only doesn't equal anywhere near 350rwhp, not even on a factory freak on a generous dynojet
yes, cam and supporting bolt-on LS1's usually make 400ish. mine makes 388 through a stalled auto, and the 6 speed cars will usually be a tad over 400

im not saying the exhaust is the only mod i have on my car. i have a lid a ported stock tb but those probably only add 10hp/tq together.

twitch, i clicked on the link in your sig and I now see that it's full exhaust, not just a catback like i was assuming (and probably everybody else was assuming as well). that sounds a little closer to right

i guess i didnt make it clear enough. what i was saying was that the exhaust is my only mod worth mentioning. all the other stuff is minuscule at best. just like someone with a maggie on doesnt mention that they have the other supporting mods, its just a given.
