Default Mazda B3000, For sale??? Thinkin about it..

I've been thinking about selling my Mazda B3000. AKA "The Beast 3000"

The only thing is that it's such a great truck I just don't know if I can get myself to go through with it.

The truck is a 2001 with only 59k on the clock and has been sitting for the last few months just getting drove randomly. She's CLEAN as hell and gets about 21mpg city/highway mix so that's a huge plus if I keep her, but I don't really drive her either so what good does that do me?

So my question is, should I keep this truck that I really do love a lot, or cut her loose and let her help someone else that really needs a good reliable vehicle? I'm so torn..

That depends on what you plan on buying to replace it.

If you don't need the money, keep it. I regret selling just about every vehicle I've sold. I wish I could keep them all because I get too attached.

Keep it zach. My first truck was actually a Mazda B3000 I bought from my neighbor for $3k, and the 3rd day after I bought it my dad was driving it and got rear ended at a dead stop from this 16 yr old girl driving her mom's expedition -it crunched the whole bed of the truck, twisted the whole truck, and bent the frame. Insurance company totalled it and gave me $8k for it, I bought it back from them for $500 and drove that thing for almost 2 years. They're long lasting trucks for sure, I'd hang on to it if I was you.

I have a newer F-150 that I drive day to day, and the Mustang is just hangin out in the garage waiting to be fixed. I don't really need to replace anything, but as much as this Mazda truck has been good to me, I wonder if someone else could put it to better use you know?

I know I will regret selling it, but at the same time this truck really could help someone have something super nice that can't afford to get something new. I know it seems dumb, but man I love this truck a lot.

I do like the Z06, but you and I both know they are EVERYWHERE! lol Nah man I really like all the cars I have right now. In fact, that's the problem!

That's one reason I'm temped to keep it. I know the thing will last FOREVER! Add in the fact that it has all new tires, wipers, and everything, but like I said I already have a F-150, so this Mazda just chills untill I pull it out and wash it every week.

Sell it. If taken care of, the F-150 will last a long time too. The only advantage the B3000 has over the F-150 is gas mileage.

That's true, the Mazda gets about 300 miles to the tank and fills up for like 30-35 bucks. F-150 EEEK! Stupid gas prices.

It's kind of pointless to have two pickup trucks.

If you could get a decent amount of money for it, I would say sell it.

If not, why take the hit? I'm guessing you've put a good amount of maintenance money into it. If you are only going to 2k for it then what's the benefit to you?

Unless you are selling it to someone that needs it, I can understand that.

2k is way out of the question, that would be giving it away. lol

Like you said no need to sell it, but not really in need of it either. Wish I had this problem with watches or gold bars. LOL!

You already have 2 trucks lol. I say get rid of it and keep the F-150, anyways, the F-150 is American, so thats one step above the Mazda lol. Or you could get rid of the F-150, you could probably get more from the F-150, and then keep the Mazda since it has been a very reliable truck to you.

It's actually both. The Mazda IS a Ford Ranger.

Even has made in the USA on the inside of the door.
