When and if the 6 speed happens Im sure it will get a RPS clutch. I havent decided thats the route Im going as I like the auto, and lets face it it is faster than a stick for most of what the car is used for. I have some ambitions for running the mile and I know a 6 speed is the only chance I have at making it happen. The big turbo kit is a go and hopefully they get them ordered this week along with the other parts for the water to air intercooler.

Now I need to find a buyer for my current twin setup.

If your good with numbers you can figure out the mph. When I am done with RC's new setup EVERYONE is in trouble on the highway.

Thats great to know.

I'm not good with numbers but I got 255mph in 5th gear at 6800rpm

Is this the 408ci twin 67s Blakc SS?
Good luck.

Not quite that much mph. I came up with mid to high 240's. Yes it was the black camaro, but we had just upgraded the engine to a rhs block 427. Unfortunately the alternator failed and the fuel pump lost voltage. So the motor let go just past the 3/4 mile marker. For the next mile it will have twin gt42-82mm turbos with billet compressor wheels and possibly a tall deck 461 cid lsx. So with that car and RC's new setup it is a possibility that you will see GM on top and all the other guys saying WTF just happened.

Been thinking about doing heads on my camaro, but dont know if I should. My plans is to do a LS3 based big cube motor sometime next year, so I dont think I should waste the money on stuff now that will just get ditched. I did find a really good deal on some 5.3 stage 2.5 heads, which would compliment my little 228R nicely.

Shooting propane tanks is always fun you never know what direction its gonna go its like shooting something that shoots back that doesnt die and makes everyone else scramble like ants

most of em stayed put, a number went less than 10 feet, a few went 20 or 30, the farthest one's ever gone was about 60 feet. ***** cool to watch though way better than a paper target fer sure

I know you and me have had our moments Josh but I think it's badass that you and LMR are going to take these other guys on in the Texas Mile and help to put an American car on top. More power to you and I will sure be at these later events if at all possible. I came by this last one while delivering an engine and saw you guys out there before you were running but didn't want to bug you right before you were going 200+. I'd sure like to see something American hauling more *** and an LSx deal would even better but I know there's some damn tough competition from all over.

I drive the car quite frequently when I have it at home. It stays at LMR alot because most of the street action is in Houston and its easier for me to take it out from there.
