Hopefully it's not to bad but I'm sure there will be a few select people that will talk **** because of who built it, etc... From what Sam had told me I don't think anyone was going to touch you because I know that wasn't on kill! . Oh well get it back together and set the record so a few people will spend even more money to catch up!!!!

On that note I'm not coming out either. It's way to hot outside to run any kind of decent ET or mph. I'm going to have to wait till it gets cooler. I couldn't imagine being in Jeans for that long in the Sun.... **** that!!! Lol

Its bad but not beyond repair. They can talk **** if they like but we still went faster.
We tested the limit of a ls7 block and found it. Its unfortunate that the motor failure ended up causing the backfire and engine fire.
This was only the 5th nitrous pass on the car and was very conservative on the tune up.
Anyone ive talked to in the last few weeks about the car couldnt believe I thought this street car was capable of running 8's at 3700lbs.
Ran 5.9's at 119 with 32% converter slip at the end of the track. Shifted at 6800 and rpm never fell below 6200 on the shift extension.

First passes produced a 9.85 at 119.xx

and another ran a 10.21.

There is a gray cts-v running 11.70. Not sure if it is Tony but it sounds really good at the big end.

Powell, you should have come out, I think you would have had a good chance at the import/domestic class from what I have seen.

LMR just clicked off a 9.64 and ARD just his 10.20ish. Only problem is I think ARD's Camaro just broke, either him or his competitor is still stuck at the exit and was smoking pretty bad. Looks like no real competiton tonight for LMR.

By "they" I take it you means us, but we would never talk **** about someones car catching on fire. That is an unfortunate thing to happen. Steven and I would never go that low. If you guys need anything for the repairs give us a call. If we have spare stuff laying around that yall can use, then you guys are welcome to it. Belive it or not I actually have alot of respect for you guys. Not everyone likes to push the envelope when it comes to this stuff.

Josh as much as we have gotten into it in the past, recent, etc... That is probably one of the most respectable things I have seen you post. You've helped me in the past even if we don't ever see eye to eye. So I know you aren't joking by this!

Congrats on the win by the way!

PS: My "they" was referring to the few people that seem to talk **** to Sam everytime he post or his name is mentioned. I know you all are better than that. So please don't think I was referring to you all!
