My wife had a 2000 ta, h/c, bolt on, full suspension, with a moser 12 bolt, 6 speed. daily drove it all the way up till she had our daughter. We brought her home in the car actually. yeah I bought it but it was hers, I had my 95 ta with a procharged 383 (600 hp). Sold it to a buddy, got an equinox. then 1 year later we bought it back but its both of our toy now, since I sold the 95.
I think its funny people make a big deal out of chicks driving fast cars, and doing it in high heels. My wife does it all the time. and did it 9 months prego. lol. And she's SMOKIN hot if I may say so.

lol, I tried to encourage my wife to own a mustang once...we were engaged at the time and rolled up to Mac Haik Ford in my 99 Formula. The shitbag.....er salesman asked if I would be trading in my Formula for a mustang gt. I calmly replied no and that I simply was looking for something that my fiancée not hurt herself in 
The look on his face was priceless and he was at a complete loss for words. Now that we have kids.... the dream of a second hotrod is truly dead

I'd say it's pretty equal on the boys vs girls driving fast cars. Boys have higher insurance b/c they take more risks street racing, driving excessivly fast, accidents. While the girls i'm sure are guilty for some incidents I'd say for the record most reports would say "Male" on the police report.
Opinons are like buttholes everybodies got one. Course the **** talkin stops when a girl busts you all over the track.
It could be the norm for some girls that their b/f or hubby bought the car for them but that's not my case.
I bought and paid for mine myself while putting myself through college it was my DD. Now she's a heads/cam beast. Chicks are rare that actually are into this hobby and know what they are talking about and have their own modded cars to back it up. Most are just eye candy at the track or car shows..

At 46 I can tell you that other than when my kids were babies, I always had smoking cars and I bought every single one of them. I don't know a lot of what goes on under the hood, but that doesn't mean I don't like them fast, loud and...did I say fast already?
A love of cars has nothing to do with whether you are a guy or a girl, it's like a hobby - some people paint, some people play music, some people grow plants and others, well, we spend our time and money on cars.
I have five vehicles - every single one of them is mine. I'm the only driver. Four f-bodies, two of which I consider worthy to speed in, two just because I like the way they look, and a Silverado Z71 with custom exhaust as a daily driver - even my truck is loud and fast. I don't spend money on clothes or shoes, but get so excited when I buy an engine that I drive from Maryland to Florida just to pick it up because I didn't want to take a chance on shipping.

well i guess i'm not the normal "b"...i've owned f bodies since i've been old enough to drive,over 30 of them.i love them,buy them.customize,trade,show,race,cruise,whatever.and not one has been driven by a guy while my names on the title.i have been married,but happier unmarried...i love my cars!(and truck,and bike) i think my tomboyness has scared some guys off,my cars are faster than theirs and i have more knowledge on them than most...hehe
