She currently drives an '07 Cadillac CTSV after trading in the C6 she had for a few yrs. We should get back out there soon enough now that we are almost settled in our home in Tx after moving from Miami a few yrs ago. We miss Sebring and Homestead speedway! Some cool tracks up here in the Dallas area that we will soon be checking out though.

Wow, that is awesome! Glad to hear about another AX chick out there! Autocross is a true test of skill for any enthusiast, IMO. Anyone can drive a car in a straight line, but it takes skill, experience, and being really familiar with one's car to be able to take a bunch of winding curves going 70-80+.

My ex got me into AutoCross; he was Houton Region Champ for ESP Class in 07 with the SCCA's Auto X Circuit out in Dickinson, and I'd go with him to every race and watch, help change tires, and of course be his cheerleader! I never raced my TA; mine was the "Beauty" (mint condition, one owner, less than 30K miles, etc) and his was the "Beast", but there were many times I was tempted to tape up the front end and drop some 315's on her and go at it!

Now that I've got a daily and can afford to tear through tires, though, I'm seriously considering going on my own and trying it...

Are you guys familiar with the AutoX they do in Dickinson? It's the first Sunday of every month, hosted by the SCCA. You can probably Google it. If y'all are interested in getting back out there, that's one option. Of course, I'm not familiar with the area you said y'all are moving to, so I don't know if Dickinson is too far... I'm in Midtown so for me it's about 30-45 mins, not bad.
