Well all we can do is offer to try and correct the problem. This is the first we have heard of there being a problem with said car.

Back to this car as jstrib said this car has not been to the track. It is a really wicked street car on the gas.

I've never used HPE for anything, but sounds like there is a whole lot of bashing going on without giving them a chance to correct the problem.... Maybe you should give them a chance...

Being a automotive shop owner myself I will have to say the greatest thing to look for in a shop is one who stands behind their work.

What do you guys think is needed to get an LS3 418ci motor to pull over 650 rwhp N/A? or What is the max HP that can be squeezed out of a 418?

650 rwhp would be a stretch. It would take a lot more than one would think. 550 would be more reasonable. Pm me and we can go over your goals or what you have now.

x2 they are trying to correct the situation.

if your buddy needs to complain then let him do it. dont go off of what is said, becuz thats how you end up looking stupid with comments such as" its running rich and has 2 much air"

Solid roller sheet metal intake or single plane it could be done but not very friendly on the wallet paying for it.

The reason we did not post earlier is the customer didn't want others to know

I've been working with them for almost two years and I have never had a problem with their service or products. I put over 20K miles on that motor in a span of ~7 months and it never missed a beat and believe me.. it was a very exciting 20K miles.

I think it's hard to judge the "max" potential of a 418 because I don't believe anyone has tried taking one to the "max".

Lots of $$$ and move around from the ls3 stuff, into some nice 245 heads or ls7 components.
