DFW: Any shops that can properly tint the 'bumps' on the rear window?
I plan on tinting the car soon but on each of my previous cars the tint looked like **** at the top of the rear window.
I've heard about people using vinyl to cover the bumps, is that the only solution? I also heard about sanding them down but that seems counterintuitive to me, like the tint wouldn't stick well after that.

I know a guy, but he's in Cleburne. He's very badass at tinting. He does multi-colored, designed, flamed, inlays, I have pics of my new back window after he tinted it, but there on my phone and Im at work so I cant upload them. I know its a far drive, but I recomend him, but I believe the best way is to sand them lightly.

I gotcha, but on the sanding, all you have to do is sand it very lightly across the bumps just enough to knock off the surface and smooth the bubbles out alittle. Ive tinted in the past and I have done it both ways better out come with sanding, not like ur going all the way down to the glass.

Which TriTek did you go to? There's one over on Arapahoe near O'Reilly's but I wasn't happy with the tint they did on my T/A. It still had the issue with the dot matrix at the top of the rear window and had a small gap that looked like a crack in the rear window from them using two pieces of tint.
