Of course this isn't going to be a high dollar resto, it's a budget build and it will be sold as that. The original plan was pro touring but this is a daily driver so it wasn't worth the cost, it will just be a "look alike". The paint will be fine, I was just messing around in that post. It will have a two year warranty just like every other car so if something does happen with the paint, it will be fixed at no cost to the owner. Most of the bad metal was cut out and replaced the right way and there really isn't anything that is half *** on this car. Remember any work done to my car will reflect the shop in a big way because of everyone knowing my cars in school plus I go to car shows a lot and talk about the shop I work at. Not to mention that there have been several customers from this site. If my car looks like ****, my boss looses customers. The day he loses a customer is the day hell freezes over.

I cut a lot of corners on my 80 T/A but I did this car right since I am not going to sell it for a while unless someone makes an offer. I will most likely sell the WS6 first and drive this Camaro every day.

It's not all about the money, I love cars and I love making them something from nothing. I was offered $8k the day after I bought it which would be a $3k profit, that's all I am going to make in the end anyways once I am done. I love this car and wanted to restore it even though I knew I was only going to make the same amount in the end. I have a little more than $10k in it now not close to finished and hopefully will get about 15k for it. Who knows, I could get $20k but it's all in what someone is willing to pay.
20K? If you get a buyer for 20k, please send them my way becuase I have some Ocean front property in Nebraska I want to sell them.

That's really good for a $1000. How are you getting it that cheap? I'd like to get my '78 repainted if it's that cheap and looks that good.

I work there, really all the money I saved was on bodywork. A standard repaint is about $600 plus whatever bodywork you need.

Some more pics I took Friday.

Showoff lol.. At least I got to drive it home today, got it half *** put back together. It sucks cause I don't have time to work on it anymore because of school. It's so much more fun to drive than the T/A though even if it's slower. I like being able to just cruise instead of shifting every two seconds plus it's easier to stay out of trouble with this thing. Barely romped on it in the T/A and got a ticket for a 48 in a 30 lol.

Nice wheels, but are those supposed to actually fit in the rear wheel well with no modifications?

He said 295's were the widest I could go with no problems out back and 245's up front. I wanted 315's but a 315/35/18 is a specialty tire so I am going with 295's. EX-ss-ve Has 315/17's in the back and he said they went on with no mods.

Just going get some cheap *** tires, only going for the looks. I don't race or anything so I don't need some crazy *** nitto's out back.

Getting the tire to fit with the right backspacing and offset. I think what he is asking is if that wheel will fit with that backspacing and offset.

What kind of paint does your shop use? it turned out great, you really need a spoiler though imo. Rims are killer!
