I don't know what power range I'm in but I'm sure 400 something. The car has small cam, ls6 intake, under drive pulley, hooker long tubes, high flow cats, borla catback, and been tuned, built auto trans.

Toyo DR's are hands down the best daily driver drag radial in my opinion. They hook good, drive very well in the rain, and last around 9-10k. When you buy a 315 Toyo, you get a 315, not a 275 like you get with the old Nitto's. They do everything better than the old Nitto's. For some reason, they haven't caught on yet. I think most people don't even realize there is a Toyo DR out there.

+1, and only 1k miles on the MTs? ive put over 2k miles on mine and they are about 70% tread still.....i drive mine in the rain, and ive had no problems, though if your driving like a jackass in the rain on mts or street tires your chances of wrecking are the same.

well i have cut 1.49' with both the hoosier drag radial and the trusty mickey thompson radial...
no way i am gonna find out if those nt05r's will match that on my car until i see one in action...
i will try the goodyear radial out before i run any nitto at the track...

hey guys which would be better for a daily driver setup on 18" Nitto 555R or BFG drags? i love the look of the BFG but i heard a few horror stories of people getting into accidents with those tires. i like the nittos as they seem great for a daily driver, but seems like you guys are barely hook up with those.
