Default Best Program To Transfer Song's From iPod To Computer?

My laptop got smashed at my buddy's house last week so I need a good program to transfer all my iPod song's to my computer or iTunes or else im gonna lose 110 GB of music when syncing it to my iTunes. I have tried 3 programs already and they all sucked and would not transfer for crap.

No software needed.

1. Connect the iPod to your PC. If iTunes starts syncing (ie erasing) your music automatically, hit the X in the upper right hand corner of iTunes display, to the left of the search box, to stop it.

2. In Control Panel, Portable Media Devices, double-click your iPod.

3. In the Tools menu -> Options, in the View Tab, check "Show hidden files and folders."

4. Navigate to the Music folder. On my 2nd gen 'pod, the full path is Portable Media Devices\ERIC'S IPOD F:\iPod_Control\Music

5. Select all the music folders, and drag and drop them into a folder on your hard drive, or directly into iTunes.

Done :]

I have over 500 But I only can put 110 on my 120GB iPod. I was in the military for 4 years all I did was download music and movies (Legally of course ) and everyone would always mooch off me!

also alot of times itunes wont recognize the "music" folder that you dragged and dropped to your desktop unless you unhide it. just right click on the folder, go to properties, and un select the Hidden box.
