the AL Pennant has come to Texas! When the series started, it was 40 Pennants and 27 World Series with a 200 million dollar pay roll was taken down by 0 Pennants and 0 Worlds Series with a 55 million dollar pay roll...David has slain Goliath. The World Series is coming to Texas, GO RANGERS!!!
Now, I hope the Giants beat the Phillies.

What's even better about this is every extra game we force / have in the post season extends our payroll for players next season. Well deserved Nolan and the rangers. Looks like karmas a bitchtom hicks.

yea, i remeber that. mainly because i was in St Louis at the time, and i was pissing off every cardinals fan there telling them they would lose to the Stros....
but, i was referring to a championship. not just the games.

Damn, that is the only thing I agree on with you....lol
Seriously, great job Rangers and Nolan Ryan you deserve it. The body language was apparent this entire series to the fact that(no offense) just because they are the "Yankees" and have the highest payroll in the game that everyone should lay down for them. That sound like another team in Dallas that I won't mention. When you play together as a team you have better results. The "Spankees" had no shot at winning this series, now they can sit at home like the Astros and have front row seats for the WS.
C.C. looks tired
A-Fraud just stinks in big games(Love how he k'd to end it)
M. Tex is better then A-Fraud(but still can't stand him)
A.P. is A.P
Cano is a badass, wish we had him
Rivera is still the man if they can ever give him a lead
Jeter, it is time to retire.
All these high paid players and it got them nowhere.
Would be nice for the Rangers to keep it up and win it for the Great State of Texas

Either NL team will be a good match. I think if it was the Phillys they would regret going thru with the trade that included Lee. At this point im not really sure if I would want to face such a scrappy team like the giants or the multiple good pitchers of the Phillys.

Maybe the old fart across the street can learn a few things while he watches.
