The things wrong with it might cost more then the car to fix it lol

Even only half decent apartments have extensive rules written in about cars in their parking lots. Being current on tags/inspection, no flat tires, no mismatched color body panels, no vehicle maintenance on the lot. If you sign a lease and break any of the stupid clauses the apartments can put the screws to you. If They actually keep up with it.

Haha I need to check my van and see if they did this to me. I guess that's when we know we have too many cars?

The car has a head gasket issue. I can drive it like 30 miles before it starts to over heat and I only work 4 miles away so it's not an issue. I'm just worried it won't pass inspection. That's why I let it go out.

I'm about to take it down to a shop I know well and see if they think it will pass. Then I'll just go get it registered to me.

It's kind of a hassle tho. I was going to get it current, just in my own time. Not in 10 days cause someone doesn't like it sitting for more than a couple days at a time.

well if its a 96 a bad headgasket shouldn't keep you from passing... as long as all the safety items are good, no ses light, and all readiness tests are "ready" then you should be good to go

Yep. I went and get an inspection sticker. No problems. Except that I was shitting myself the whole drive there since I didn't have EITHER stickers current.

Edit: I fixed my signature....
