You dont have to have a FAST intake to make decent power. The headers would be more important in my opinion. Also, what kind of timing and air to fuel ratio are you running at WOT?
i am looking into getting some long tubes. the converter was unlocked. i going to look into getting a fast intake and t/b. just tight on money right now. just got a built trans and a new car hauler. spent around 3,700 in the past 4 weeks. i dont know what the air to fuel is to wot. i never asked and he never said

To me it looks like the cam has not peaked power yet. I think if the truck had some long tubes on it, pulled to 6700-6800 rpm, and the converter was locked it would put up some better numbers. With the drive train you are working with I wouldn't be too worried about what it says on the dyno as long as you are happy with how it does on the track. I think it would also be good to know what the timing and air/fuel was on that pull.

I really think a compression or leak down test should be first if you can get the guages for cheap or free, if not, then go with long tubes first and foremost. the ls series responds in great ways to a set of them, an with the heads and cam youve got it will be even better. shortys just dont do much and your trying to move LOTS of volume with em. IF your still not happy, then go with the intake upgrade. a FAST just doesnt compare once you throw the cost factor into the comparison and plenty of people are making really awesome power with the ls6.

still, its an unlocked auto, dont expect big dyno numbers, Bad Chad is right, the dyno is a tuning tool. let your track times tell the tale
