New project!
I bought my wife a 2009 HHR today and I get the Tahoe as a new toy! It's a 2000 with 170k needs ALOT of love but I'm looking forward to the challange. I cant post pics but you all know what a Tahoe looks like. would love to see some pics of a badass Tahoe or Suburban that anyone out there might have and get some ideas.

There is a difference between a Tahoe and a Tahoe that "needs some love", so we need pics..
What all does it need? A can of interior dye goes a LONG way! I re did the whole dash of my F250 with a can I found at work, looked factory. Carpet is pretty cheap also..
Always been a sucker for a black Tahoe on 22's.

Suspension work and a fuel pump, complete tuneup, and it leaks oil. The int is in great shape, it needs 2 fenders and a door. It's indigo blue not black. I'm not going to ghetto it out.

If you want to redo interior trim you take it and if its plastic sand it down a bit and rough it up then paint and clear it... not dye it.

It really is paint, just called dye. I think clearing it would make it glossy and look kinda weird, idk though. Just have to make sure you clean the plastic very well.

Thank you! I picked up a pretty nice set of polished wheels today for $75 was going to get them powder coated black, but they cleaned up really nice. pics later. Found a cowl hood online for $360 but thats for later, gotta get some fenders and remove the runnings boards and emblems and door ding stopper things. thats it for appearance right now. It needs to stay stock ride hieght so my kid can get in it. Perfomance wise exhaust and cai. Whats really great is my wife is cool with everything I want to do. It was her dd for 4 yrs. 1st it needs ball joints tie rods and some other susp parts. I can do alot of the appearance stuff in between though.
