Default House fire....

Well every one my house burned down on monday morn...Found out yesterday that it was arson....The story was on channel 2 last night ...We lost every thing...This is going to be a long sad christmas.....

Wow man Im very sorry to hear this. Is insurance getting you taken care of or are they giving the run around since it was ruled arson?

he Pearland Fire Marshal's Office is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of arson suspect(s) relating to a Monday (Dec. 13) residential fire in the 4000 Block of Jasmine St.

The early-morning fire started at approximately 12:26 a.m. Firefighters arriving at the scene discovered heavy smoke and fire extending into the attic space, and rolling down the front of the single-story, brick residence. Occupants were awakened by a neighbor, and fled the home with no major injuries.

Arson investigators have determined this fire to be suspicious in nature - based on evidence found at the scene, and a complete investigation is currently under way.

Those with any information concerning this fire are encouraged to contact the Pearland Fire Marshal at (281) 651-1954. Information provided that results in an arrest and conviction is eligible for the reward.

For information concerning investigations, please contact Shohn Davison, Deputy Fire Marshal at (281) 652-1965, or sdavison@ci.pearland.tx.us. For information concerning becoming a fire fighter, please contact Monica Eaton at (281) 412-4807, or meaton@ci.pearland.tx.us.

Man I'm not far from you, if you need anything like clothes to borrow, tools or a place to work on cars, anything like that let me know. My kids have tons of toys too if you have kids and they want a place to play. I don't know you but I can only imagine how hard a loss like that would be.

Man that sucks, Sorry to hear you are having to go through something like this...

Back in 2007 We my wife and I went through the samething. I bought the place I'm at now and we had issues getting the previous owners out of the house. When moved out on December 23 and on December 24th the house burned down while we was gone. After 3 month of fighting with the insurance company they went ahead and paid but it was a fight.

OP I am sorry this happened to you, I cant imagine how this feels, I am glad you and your family is ok, the fact that someone woke you guys up is a sign that god was watching over you. From the looks of it it seems our fellow tech members will be helping to support you and your family. I can't believe some douche would due this especially at this time of the year. I know things lost cant be recovered from this but I hope your family can recover and rebuild, God Bless.

So sorry to hear man, i had a home burn down, not due to arson, but even if everything is not burned away, the smoke damage finishes the rest. Hope you have some good insurance and even possible come out further ahead than before.
