Default Calling out some people to help my family in DFW...

Well, my in-laws' house burned down yesterday. They lost EVERYTHING, including wedding rings, wallets, purses. The only thing left is the clothes they had on their back when they got out. It is a total loss and they are having to start over from scratch. (My mother-in-law- is very sick and can't work, and my father-in-law has worked for the same company for 18 years and only makes $10/hr so they couldn't afford insurance.) So if anybody has ANYTHING that they would like to donate, please contact me. Anything from a canned good to furniture, or just coming out with a bobcat to help clear out some of the rubble will help. If not, a prayer for them to get back on their feet will definitely be appreciated as well. There are 3 children still living in the house (17, 14, and 9.) They are very kind and giving people and always had an open door to anyone, so any help will be appreciated. I live in Alvarado, TX and the house burned down in Lillian, TX about 20 mins from Arlington. I hope all of you have happy holidays and thank you for your considerations!

EDIT:

To donate, please Paypal to 98camaro28@gmail.com. My account is linked to their checking account, so all funds go directly to them.

If you would like to send anything, please send to

Bryan and Ruby Mosier

Thank you guys SO much!! Happy Holidays to all!!

Damn, wtf. That's two houses from people on here that have burned down already... Was it ruled arson, or do you all know the cause of the fire? Wish I could help, but am not near the area... my wishes are with them.

Thank you guys for the response. The fire started in the attic and was believed to be started by a heater. When it first started they ran up there with a water hose but it was just too late. The house was originally a big doctor's office in the early 1900s and wasn't a very good match for the fire. It was leveled in well under 3 hours. The ironic thing is that they lived LITERALLY less than 100 yards from the fire station but it took them over an hour to get somebody out there. Here are a few pics from the first 2 hours or so. Nobody took any of the final result, which is just a big pile of black ash and metal. Ill take some shortly.

You can also enter the coordinates 32.507978,-97.190855 on Google Maps to see the house and the fire station right behind it. Just make sure it's set to "satellite".

Kinda out there... But I have a ton of old clothes I have been meaning to junk. Some is a tad too small. I am 5'11 175-180#. Some of it fits I just don't wear it any more, shirts will be mostly men's medium.
From jeans to wal mart t shirts to name brand shirts.

If you think it will actually help and be able to be worn I will box it up and send it, I will cover shipping. I have not worked in a week because of weather so money is super tight so if you know it wont or can't be worn let me know. I am more than happy to help out though.

Wow, what an awful situation. Set up a paypal account to make this easier for out-of-towners who want to help.

We need clothes for the young boy, Mark and the older boy, Tim. Tim is about 5' 8" and about 150 and about a 32 waist and medium shirts. Mark is a size 1 in shoes 7-8 in pants and 10-12 in shirts. Thank you all very much for your help! Without the kind, generous, and giving people in this world things would be MUCH harder right now!

Wow, I am sorry to hear about this. I will have to check with my wife, but we may have some clothes and shoes that we have either never worn or just dont fit anymore.
