i have an 01 z-28 with a bunch of after-market things added. the car has a crappy paint job and it is not tuned. i threw in an lq4 with l92 heads and cant get the tune down since im not good with hp-tuners. if i can come up with $6,000 by January 18 i can borrow money from my parents and get a nice deal on an altima. i cannot afford the gas mileage with the camaro. fyi i dont have the money to get it tuned or painted, nor do i have the time. how hard is it to part out or is it better to try and sell it as is? i will have a vehicle to drive for one and a half weeks so i can strip the car down.

Parting out a vehicle has got to be a gigantic PITA, I bet you could get close to 6 for it as a whole if everything else is good on it depending on just how much aftermarket stuff is on it.

The car is worth $6K, doesn't seem worth parting out, I bet you could get $6K for it. Some of your problems are just nickle and dime, dash cap, seat, exhaust hanger and some are more costly or involved. But I mean nothing terrible.
crappy paint job.- That sucks, that is a few thousand to get right
needs someone that knows how to tune.
Engine wiring harness was butchered, had to rewire.
These are really the same issue, depending how bad it is, it could really be a nite mare, how ever, a good used engine harness shouldn't be tough to find or even hard to swap out, so it really isn't a big issue as it seems. After that you live in Texas, Houston at that, a tune shouldn't be an issue at all.
Magnaflow exhaust had the hangers come loose. - Not a big deal at all, easy fix
Dash pad is cracked. - Once again easy fix, find one on ebay
Driver seat has the normal spot worn and cracked - Not really big deal
