That is your crank sensor, It should not keep your car from turning over but it would keep it from starting.

I will look but I think I have this part of a harness I can cut off

Thanks. I think I may have a replacement by lunch, I wont know till then. I have to get this done tonight.

The SS has to be on the road tomorrow morning.

I appreciate your help. Let me see what I come up with at lunch before you cut anything.

I think you may have gotten it fixed however my SS had the same issues. After a body control module, a pcm, a new key, bypassing the vats system, having vats turned off in HP tuners, a new battery, and a new starter it hasnt done it since lol. The starter ended up being the culprit.
