'02 SS not starting
I took the SS out this past Sunday and "stretched her legs"
as she has been in the garage for two weeks.I took her out for a short time, just enough to get side-ways and slam through the gears. (I grinned) Happy with the ride I parked her for a bout an hour. When I got back in to head over to a friends house to watch Ultimate Factories Camaro/Corvette, she would not start.
I checked the battery, fuses & blinker light fluid. All seemed ok. I tried once more:
Dash lights up, good voltage, fuel reading good, hear the fuel pump prime - pushed down on the clutch then turn the ignition... nothing.
No ticking, chattering. Nothing.
As if I were to turn the key without pushing in the clutch <--- that is what I got. no turnover.
I read abit about VATS so I tried both keys - one key fob has not been used so I thought that would work for sure but no luck.
Tech budd's help out!
I wanted to take her to the Coffee 'n Cars this weekend.
have you done anything recently with your clutch hydraulic system? my car did the exact same thing and it was that little plastic switch. keeps the car from engaging cruise control too if the car is already started.

how can I check the relay? - sorry, I did pull the relays under the hood and checked the fuses that pertain to starter and ignition.. They don't look burned out.
