Cant wait to see the Turbo kit on this one.I know what your gonna say "Its a work truck" but you and I know you cant fight the mod bug.
Drove one when I worked at Ford and must say the truck is sick.I just wish they brought the Lightning back instead

I almost bit the bullet last year when they released the 6.2. Drove a 5.4 and it just didn't have the power that the truck needed. I kind of prefer the extended cab b/c it is offered with the 5 1/2" bed. Truck is already wide enough, a short extended cab and bed is a plus.
Once all was said and done, stealership wouldn't budge from 42k so I didn't buy it. Plus it had the red interior inserts and the splash stickers on the sides.
Overall, well built truck. With the Fox shocks, it rides like a Cadi.

When are we racing our new trucks rc? I just got a new 11 Chevy extended cab to work out of and I got a hundred dollars worth of food credit says I can run off and leave that 6.2 ford. Come on battle of the work trucks. Lol

Also, due to it being a specialized vehicle it is not required by govt/ford to list a MPG rating.
EDIT: when I was looking around at the ext. cab version:

I dont know how much taller than a standard F150 it actually is. It seems to be about as tall as a 3/4 ton Superduty to me. As far as the fuel mileage, it sucks. I hear of people on ither forums getting 15+mpg, On the first tank I averaged 12mpg, but then again an accelerator is an on/off switch for me.

Great looking truck, makes me wish I would have held out for the Supercrew.
On my 2010 Raptor I've been getting 14-15 driving around Houston, according to the on dash lie-o-meter. I live in Cypress, work downtown and have family in Clear Lake so that MPG includes a good mix of stop and go on 290 and cruising on BW8.
Is there a positive displacement blower for these trucks yet? All I know about is the Procharger centri kit, which IMHO would be a total misfit for such a large truck.
