Default Will it pass inspection?

My truck is throwing a code on my scan tool but no check engine light has come on. Will it pass inspection like this?

X2. It depends on the code, and if it passes all of the "Ready" states.

It will not pass, doesn't matter if the MIL is lit - if there is a code in the computer the OBDII tester will know it.

This is key, how many "not ready" do you have? You can clear the code and have 1 or 2 not ready and still pass depending on the year model.

when my car usually got multiple misfire it was due to plugs and the second time was due to the o2 sensors....so you should look into one of those.... possibly plug wires

Sounds like the code is Pending.Get your car to an inspection station before it sets the check engine light.
