Sitting in the dark

Anyone else without power this morning? I am at work downtown Houston listening to the sound of a bunch of ringing backup surge protectors.

We had a mini outage here. Firetrucks showed up to get people out of elevators. Im hoping the power goes out again so I can go home. bwahaha Believe me I will be taking the stairs all day.

No power out to hospitals will have power out my ***... I'm working at a hospital on the nw side and i'm sitting here watching the backup generator run as I type this. Pfffft

Lost power in Converse, just outside of San Anotonio. Lost power for one hour from 0644 to 0744. This is bull ****.

I work on the 47th floor. Stairs aren't really an option, at least going up.

Well we had power back on for about half an hour but it is out again. It was just enough time to warm up the air in our office.

Power has been off at the house here for almost 7hrs now. Centerpoint said they were overloaded with calls. On top of that I am sick as hell and freezing my *** of right now. Bring on the Global Warming!

its 20-30 freaking degrees. is this like the end of the world to them, how can you not prepare for a few weeks up to a month of sub freezing temps when other parts of the nation have it 6mo+ out of the year?

I have been without power for almost 3 hrs.

But I love having battery back ups at my house to keep my internet going.

I just get tired of that ******* beeping sound grrrrr

Power came on about 20 mins ago.

LOL power is off again this is just BS

Powers been going off every two hours at my machine shop...nothing better than listening to 50+ CNC machines winding down from 20,000rpm when the power goes..
