Just wondering what makes people so die hard crazy about them.. I mean throw 30lbs of boost and an ungodly huge turbo at most motors and they will make cool numbers.. But what really makes these import motors have such a misinformed diehard fanbase?

Facts are facts, ya can cry and bitch all ya want but all of you guys that are making more than 600-700 hp know it...

It's really simple....
The inline 6 is a much better design than a v motor, very balanced and better on bearings and it's a cast iron block that can handle lots of boost....it's not just the 2jz, but other well built inline 6s are also capable of making lots of hp due to boost...

One of my import buddies was trying to explain this in domestic terms and told me that a 2jz is like the BB of straight 6's. Is this a correct generalization for a import retard like myself?

So, my Cummins, since it's a I6 it can make lots of hp?
I'm not trying to start a flat out argument, because arguing with you is like talking to my 4 month old.

Exactly....who is arguing with u?
I actually know how to discuss and debate base on facts...
Did u see the part t where I said other i6s are capable of making a lot of power too? Or maybe u should get your 4 month old to teach u reading comprenhion..
Btw...your 4 month old must be one smart mother ****** then...

Yawn.
Not arguing, just curious like the OP on what makes the design of these motors so golden?

I think its the best 6 Cylinder made but not better than a V8, there is no replacement for displacement. Plain and simple, don't say turbo's or SC or nitrou either because you can add that to a V8 too
