doing a4 to m6 swap
so i'm doing my a4 to m6 swap this weekend............ ive been researching it for months and waiting and i think ive got a good plan. Wish me luck and as long as all goes well ill be tearing through gears by monday.

we are trading everything needed to swap. not a bad deal. can't wait. I had a few others willing to trade straight up but never happened so i just decided to go this route.

Are you bracing the fire wall where the master cylinder goes through? I have a couple of people that want to do a 6 speed swap and I was wondering if anyone made a plate for this yet.

so on the steering column the cable that goes to the shifter..... i know i dont need it but there is also a plug for censor. can i take all that off and the 2 steel bars going up around the turn signal or what

I've read that it doesn't need to come out but honestly I'm glad I did. It has given me a lot of room to work. I couldn't imagine doing it with it all there but then again I get to cussing if I'm in tight spots. Maybe just the drivers seat if I were to do it again. And I'm keeping my auto harness in but I will have the m6 harness here if I need anything from it
