I bought a motor from kyle about a yr ago maybe a yr and 3 months. I built a ffr 33 coupe. I bought his 525 hp ls3 style engine. consisted of a 6.0l iron block and ls3 top end has a cam and some head work done i think to make the 525.

Kyle at TMS is a very patient willing to help kinda guy.

I brought the motor to get dyno tuned by a well known tuner on this site and in the california area. put it on the dyno and it made 380 wheel hp as explained to me the 2 1/4 inch pipe and hooker shorty block huggers could be killing me. we were expecting to get about 430-450 at the wheels. I wish i was closer to texas so i can bring the car to kyles shop to see if we can get closer to that 430-450 wheel hp number.

This last week i noticed a leak coming from the bell housing it was brownish black... first thought.. motor oil. i called kyle up and bitched at him saying my clutch was fried and whining like a little girl before i pulled the motor out and seen what the problem was. he said he would work with me just find out what the problem was. I told him i don't feel i should be responsible for the clutch and he said he would work with me again just pull the motor out and see whats up.

yesterday i pulled the motor out and the back of the engine especially the rear main was spotless. had a leak from the tranny. mcloeds throughout bearing was leaking.

I called kyle up this morning and apologized now I feel like a D i C KK...

I would say he is a reputable shop and i would pick a guy who stands behind his work and makes sure his costumers are happy!

Bought a shortblock last August... Kyle answered a million questions (not kidding) and helped my noob *** out as I put it back together. 8000 miles later and no issues... I daily drive through everything (rain, snow and shine) so it's handled 110 F days, a few -20F days and everything in between.

I would recommend TMS to anyone without hesitation.

Thanks guys...

With a 5000 converter, 28" radials, and 373s it still put down 437Rwhp and 406Rwtq on a dyno that is known to be stingy.

Nitrous converter goes in soon and that should let me hit 450Rwhp I'm thinking.

Nitrous numbers coming in about 3 weeks.

Later I will add some 1 7/8 and a better intake and see how close to 500Rw I can get.
