Have you had anybody tell you the green looks good yet? Oh and colour-blind people don't count.

Not really but there are just some people that dont see things the same way I do. Its cool, to each their own.... its really what looks good to me and I like the Hugger Green. I think it will show a lot of people that you dont have to do what everyone else does. Just because some see it and think oohh thats weird or ugly doesn't mean I am going to change who I am. I did look at it again and think that the covers need to be black. but other than that the green to me looks very different from what everyone else has.

If you dont believe me then, lets get everyone on here to post pics of their engine bay and lest see some colors. Ill be red and blue are the top two, because its the norm.

If you like it then rock it proudly man. Wasn't trying to be harsh, but at the same time you posted a thread asking for people's thoughts.. and if everybody thinks negatively about it so far I think thats a pretty good indication of the reaction most people will have when they see it!

Yeah my needed thought was on the paint job but everyone hit me on the color. This was the first time for me to paint anything.

I think the green and black will look awsome, but as you can see its just me. Its a little bit of old school on the color for me. My dad had that green Camaro when he was a kid and I loved that thing till it was stolen.

If the green means something to you then by all means keep it man. Should have let us all know the story behind it before we all dissed the colour!

The actual paint job itself turned out great!

It looks very...festive! (Cue chipmunks song)

I think any neon is quite juvenile and/or cheesy. Your car though...

Without qualification, you DID do a nice job on the paint/prep.

SEXY red valve covers should be black dark grey or silver.

Painted my valve covers green I thought about doing the intake first but have seen too many of them fading and flaking off.

Really well this is 500 degree paint so I hope it lasts, if not then I will sand and paint again with different paint.

Pop the hood on that sublime cuda and I'll bet you see an orange engine. It isn't like those 2 colors mix well. Contrasting engine colors aren't anything new. There are just too many young guys on here that don't remember back when engines weren't black from the factory.

I'd rather see a green intake over colored wire looms any day.

I like the green. I'd just paint the red black.

all those cars have the green on the OUTSIDE. its not the color itself imo, its what you PAINTED that color. it just doesnt work man. especially that one piece of it. yeah, its gonna stand out, but not for the right reasons.

Actually, that intake would match Bakushan's SS pretty damn good. I mean that in a GOOD way. Especially now that he painted the valve covers black.
